Terms of use

By using Ledger you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which governs the app.

What Ledger is

Ledger records your spending from information on your phone and shows it back to you. It's a personal tool, not a bank, not financial advice and not an accounting record. Check important figures against your bank statements.

Accuracy

Ledger reads bank messages with fixed rules. Banks change their messages, so an amount, shop or category may occasionally be read wrongly or missed. You can correct any item. Tips and budgets are general suggestions worked out from your own numbers; they don't consider your full circumstances and aren't investment, credit or financial advice.

Ledger Pro

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store and Google Play. A free trial, if offered, turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple account or Google Play settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.

Your data

Your data stays on your phone and is yours. Because we don't hold a copy, we can't recover it if your phone is lost or the app is deleted. Export a CSV from the You tab to keep your own backup.

Beta versions

Test builds (TestFlight on iPhone, Google Play testing on Android) are for testing, may have bugs and may change or stop working.
