Tally reads the texts your bank already sends, right on your phone, and keeps a calendar of where your money went.
Your bank texts you.
Every card payment, every Apple Pay or Google Wallet tap. You've been getting these for years and ignoring them.
Tally reads it.
The amount, the shop and the card. On your phone, by fixed rules for your bank. One-time passwords, balances and personal messages are ignored on the spot.
It's in your month.
No typing, no receipts, no bank login. On Android, allow SMS once. On iPhone, set up two automations once. Then it keeps going.
One look tells you how the month is going.
Each square is a day. The darker it is, the more you spent compared with your usual day. Rent and other fixed bills don't darken a day, so it shows how you actually live.
Paid cash? Just say it.
Hold the mic and talk. Tally turns it into an expense, on your phone. Nothing is recorded or sent.
What happens on your phone stays there.
Most money apps want your bank password and a copy of your data. Tally sends all of that away.
Read the privacy policy: it's short, because there's little to say.
Start from what you want to keep.

Questions, answered.
Does Ledger see my bank account?
No. Ledger never logs in to your bank and can't see your balance or other transactions. It reads only the purchase texts your bank sends to your phone, through an automation you set up and can switch off.
Which banks work?
The main banks in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and India, in English and Arabic. If a text comes in a layout Tally hasn't seen, it waits in "Needs a look": tap the amount and shop once, and Tally reads that layout from then on.
What happens to my other messages?
Nothing. The automation passes a message only when it contains your keyword, like AED. Anything that isn't a purchase or refund is dropped on the spot. The full text of a message is never stored.
How do I turn off auto-capture?
Ledger reads texts and Apple Pay taps only through automations in your Shortcuts app. Open Shortcuts, tap Automation, swipe left on "When I Get a Message Containing 'AED'" and tap Delete, then do the same for the Apple Pay one ("When I tap…"). In the app, You › Turn off auto-capture shows the same steps. If you see "Unable to launch com.rajat.ledger" after removing the app, these steps stop it. On Android, turn off SMS access for Ledger in Settings › Apps, or remove the app.
Why no AI?
Because you should be able to trust what's in your ledger. Fixed rules read the same message the same way every time, and nothing about your money goes to a model.
What if I change phones?
Your data lives on your phone, not with us. Before you switch, use Export in the You tab, then import the file on the new phone.
Does it work on Android?
Yes. On Android there's nothing to set up: allow Ledger to read texts and it picks up bank messages by itself, and Google Wallet taps come in through notification access. Both are switches you can turn off any time.
